White Fungus held the third Depopulate event at Treasure Hill Artist Village in Taipei. The event featured performances by Anla Courtis (Argentina), Zahra Killeen-Chance (New Zealand), Hsia Yu, Wang Fujui, Sun Yi-Jou, and Noise Steve.
The Consumers of the Future was an exhibition by White Fungus at Adam Art Gallery, accompanying the exhibitions We Will Work With You! Wellington Media Collective 1978-1998, and Martha Rosler, The Bowery in Two Inadequate Descriptive Systems.

The Consumers of the Future featured a series of three posters, remixing Wellington City Council publicity materials together with a quote by the New Zealand Prime Minister and former Merrill Lynch currency trader, John Key: “Our children are important... They’re the consumers of the future.” The exhibition also included a publication that was available for free to visitors to the gallery.
White Fungus founders Ron Hanson and Mark Hanson gave a talk at Guangdong Times Museum in Guangzhou, China, about the history of White Fungus and their experiences in independent publishing. The presentation was part of a series of events accompanying the Light of Independence exhibition, curated by Lingling Zhong and Lizzy Meng.
White Fungus held the second of its Depopulate event series at TheCube Project Space in Taipei. The event featured performances by Zbigniew Karkowski, Wang Fujui, Dino, HanHan + VJ HaoHao, and 不好人Bu Hao People.
White Fungus held its first-ever event in Taiwan at the then-recently opened Taipei Contemporary Art Center. The magazine introduced the New York experimental music dissemination project 60 X 60 to Taiwan. The night also featured performances by Wang Fujui, Dino, and The Lost Weekend.
